If you're looking for the Ultimate
Getaway, this is it!
Owners, Mick & Alice Schlick, personally designed and built this
quality motel in the heart of mother nature's garden. Their concern for the
comfort of guests can be seen throughout the entire complex. Centrally located
on the resort's main level is a large triangular redwood deck, complete with
five picnic tables, large shady umbrellas, barbecue grills, and even a
fish-cleaning sink for all you anglers.

Some Things to Do!
There are over 50 miles of Kern River
fishing, swimming, hiking, whitewater rafting, and kayaking. There are also
hundreds of miles of Sequoia National Forest roads, both paved and off-highway,
to explore along the river and in nearby mountains. Some even go to abandoned
gold-mining areas. The Giant Sequoia National Monument and redwood groves are
less than an hour away. Mountain bike trails and a wide variety of climbing
choices are also available. For horse lovers, there is trailer parking and
there are numerous trails into the mountain wilderness surrounding the
resort.
Exciting & Historic Places to Visit
Nearby Lake Isabella offers swimming, sunbathing, year around
fishing, boating, jet and water-skiing, wind surfing, fishing derbies, and
small town festivals & parades. Wintertime adds snow-skiing, snowboarding,
cross-country skiing, and snow mobiling to the area attractions. Winter is also
the best time for traffic-free motorcycling on the lower elevation roads
extending from the resort.
